Nuvo Suites Hotel

We stayed 1 night at the Nuvo Suites in Doral, Florida before a trip to Punta Cana. This is our experience at this excellent hotel and why we are looking forward to returning to this property.

After a long trip down Route 95 South that featured 6 hours of driving in a torrential downpour, a road closure due to a tragic accident, and arriving during a rare Miami Tornado Watch, we finally arrived at the Nuvo Suites Hotel in Doral, Florida.

Doral, Florida is located close to the City of Miami and Miami Beach. It is an ideal location for those that want to stay close to all the action but far enough to avoid all the hassle and extra cost that comes with staying in the City of Miami and in Miami Beach. Doral is also fairly close to the Miami International Airport, and has plenty of shopping and dining opportunities. Which made it very convenient for our needs.

We chose the Nuvo Suites Hotel because it featured a great pool, FREE valet parking, and a complimentary hot buffet breakfast. However, there were so many additional amenities that added so much value to this property that we were left very impressed with our short stay. We have stayed in plenty of properties in the area, and this is definitely the most convenient hotel that we have experienced. All this for a very reasonable price.

We did our search on and booking through Booking.com. We booked the Executive Suite with a King Bed simply because it was only a few extra dollars for the upgrade. The entire hotel turned out to be a much better value than we originally thought.

After arriving at the Nuvo Suites and leaving our car with the valet, we checked in, and found the process to be quite easy. Even though we arrived late, there was still plenty of people that were either checking in or checking out at the front desk. We were highly impressed with the decoration and attention to detail in the lobby. We had a pleasant greeting and we were immediately offered a complimentary late check out for the next day. We highly appreciated that kind gesture, especially since they had no idea that we would be writing a review.

As soon as we walked in to our room we were highly impressed with what we saw. There was a complete kitchen with everything that we would need for an extended stay. There was an electric stove, full size microwave, A huge refrigerator, a Keurig, a dishwasher, plenty of cabinet spaces, and a sink with a garbage disposal! This was so much more than a hotel room, it felt like a home away from home. There were even cups and plates in the cabinets!

We immediately got comfortable in the living room on the comfy couch. There were two televisions in our suite. One Television was located in the living room and the other in the bedroom. There was plenty of space to lounge around and relax.

There was wide and comfortable desk just in case you want to get some work done. My wife loved the lamp! I appreciated the comfortable chair which came in very handy in the morning as I was doing the research for our trip. As you can see in the picture above, there is also an iron and a full sized ironing board available.

One of the features that we were most excited about was the full sized washer and drier in the suite. This is an incredibly useful feature and the main reason why we are looking forward to coming back to this hotel for a longer stay. We hate bringing back dirty clothes, and the thought of bringing back a suitcase full of clean clothes makes us happy.

The bathroom has a tub and plenty of towels! Across from the the bathroom there is a safe and plenty of space to store your luggage and hang your garments.

Our bedroom came with a King sized bed and it has plenty of outlets. The bed was comfortable and we had very peaceful night. There was a television in the bedroom, which we had short time to enjoy.

There was a great, hot, breakfast buffet. Even though there was ample seating and a great set-up, the room was packed for breakfast. So make sure to get up early and there is a chance that you might have to wait to get seated when the hotel is very busy.

There are plenty of pictures of the awesome Nuvo Suites Pool around. It is spacious and an awesome place to hang out if you dont want to leave the hotel. There are 2 huge screens so that you can enjoy some programing while you take a dip. There is plenty of seating and also a great bar with awesome reviews attached to the pool. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to enjoy this incredible amenity, but we look forward to taking a dip in the future. The pool is on the 3rd floor all the way at the end of the hallway.

The Gym is attached to the pool and there were plenty of people taking advantage of the facilities when we passed by.

One of the best features of the Novu Suites hotel is the location. It is located across the street from the International Mall, and just a few blocks away from The Dolphin Mall. There are also numerous dining establishments in the area. We were able to drive down the street, to a Bank of America. It is also a very quick drive to the Dolphin Expressway and many other highways.

We definitely want to return to the Nuvo Suites Hotel to take advantage of all this property has to offer. Any hotel that offers so many complimentary amenities tends to stand out, however, this place is also beautiful! To add there were no destination or resort fees added to our bill!

We highly recommend this hotel and we encourage you to book your stay at the Nuvo Suites today. We were hoping to stay at this property on our way back from our stay and it was sold out. ​
