The Summit NYC

An Amazing observation deck experience

02.01.2017

A place for your title

We recently visited the Summit at the Vanderbilt to celebrate a special occasion. Lilian loves the Empire State Building. I know what you are thinking, I thought that this was about the Summit. However, the best way to observe the Empire State Building is from the outside not the inside. The Summit didnt just provide the views that we were looking for, it also provided us with tons of entertainment and a wonderful overall experience that was well worth the price of admissions.

We bought the tickets during the busy holiday season. As a result, we could not find any discount tickets. Everything said sold out. Including official Website for the Summit building. However, I tried the package deal with Ascent and picture package and I was able to get a time slot. I picked an 8:30 time slot since we were planning to have dinner in Jersey and we needed to have plenty of time to get to the summit from the restaurant.

We had a blast! I was a little worried with the amount of people that were in line with us, however, once we climbed up to the top, it was very easy to move around and we did not have to wait long to take pictures by the glass. It was a clear night and it the city looked beautiful. Most importantly, Lilian had a great view of the Empire State Building. We would have been happy with just this experience.

However, the Summit is not just an observation deck, it is so much more! Once we moved from the room we went into the ball room, where we were able to play and take pictures. We seriously had a lot of fun in this area. It was a lot more enjoyable than I thought and definitely an experience that we recommend.

Overall, there are three floors of activities and extra sensory experiences. There were plenty of opportunities for pictures and an overall wonderful experience for rourist and natives New Yorkers alike.
